THE ONLY PART VISIBLE IS HER CARGO OF SLATE WHICH STANDS 1-2MTRS PROUD IN GENERAL DEPTH OF 33MTRS [REDUCED]. REPD TO BE NO DANGER AS IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO SNAG. (S HOWLAND, LTR DTD 2.11.95). CHART AS USC 30MTRS IN 503845.8N, 002241.3E [OGB]. BR STD. 8.6.09 REMAINS OF A WOODEN VESSEL IN 5038.789N, 0022.600E [WGD] OF 18MTRS LENGTH & 4MTRS WIDTH. LYING EAST/WEST (BOWS EAST) WITH THE HIGHEST POINT OF 2MTRS LYING MIDSHIPS. MIXED CARGO OF SLATE, INCLUDING ROOFING SLATE & LARGER 2 X 1MTR SLABS WHICH MAKE UP THE HIGHEST POINT. THE REST OF THE WK IS LEVEL WITH THE SEABED THOUGH THERE IS A METAL STEERING QUADRANT TO THE WEST OF THE LARGE PILE OF SLATE. POSSIBLY THE 'MARY WYLIE'? (JAMIE SMITH, EMAILS DTD 5.6.09 & 8.6.09).
