TORPEDOED RIGHT FWD BY E-BOATS OF THE 5TH FLOTILLA WHILE ESCORTING CONVOY WP 300. SANK IN 2 OR 3 MINUTES. ALSO LOST WERE HMS HARSTAD, MV MOLDAVIA AND LCT 381. (N CHIPCHASE).
