INS AS OBSTN (NO DEPTH SPECIFIED). - NM 1440/02. HI1770 29.06.23 EXAM'D 31.08.22 IN 5007.152N, 0528.819W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 3.29MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 4.5MTRS. Circumstances of loss

BUILT IN 1913 BY DEVONPORT DOCKYARD. TWENTY FOUR BOILERS, STEAM TURBINES OF 75000 HP, QUARDUPLE SHAFTS. BROKE AWAY FROM TUG WHILE BEING TOWED PORTSMOUTH FOR THE CLYDE FOR BREAKING. GROUNDED AND WAS LATER BEACHED. SCRAPPED IN SITU OVER A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS.
