STRUCK ON PORT SIDE MIDSHIPS BY INBOUND ITALIAN M VEHICLE CARRIER 'ADIGE'. 470 CHILDREN, 14 TEACHERS & THEIR HELPERS, PLUS OVER 110 CREW SURVIVED, FOUR PEOPLE WERE LOST. (MSD).
