EMPLOYED IN CONTROLLED DISPOSAL OF ELDERLY EXPLOSIVES BY DETONATION IN WATER IN CHARTED DUMPING GROUND. CARRYING 1400 UNDERWATER GRENADES (SOME 600KG OF EXPLOSIVES). GRENADES WERE PRIMED PRIOR TO DROPPING INTO THE WATER. EXPLOSION OCCURED AND THE VESSEL SANK. TWO KILLED AND THREE MISSING.
