BUILT IN 1918 BY W DENNY & SONS. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY THE SOUTHERN RAILWAY CO. TURBINE ENGINES OF 4750 SHP FOR 18 KNOTS. WAS COMMANDEERED FROM SOUTHERN RAILWAY CO FOR TROOP CARRYING. SUNK BY GERMAN AIRCRAFT WHILE EVACUATING TROOPS FROM DUNKIRK. (DODS & WW1SL).
