21.12.1894 VESSEL, DEPARTED FROM GARSTON, LIVERPOOL, FOR SANTOS, BRAZIL, ON 21.12.1894 UNDER TOW OF TUG KNIGHT TEMPLAR. TOW WAS CAST OFF NEAR THE SKERRIES DURING A VIOLENT STORM. NOTHING FURTHER HEARD OF VESSEL UNTIL 3 BOATS AND 2 BODIES WERE WASHED ASHORE AT HOYLAKE, MOSTYN AND SEAFORTH. (K HURLEY).
