EX-MARGARET. BUILT IN 1878 BY BARROW SHIPBUILDING CO LTD. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY AYR SHIPPING CO LTD. ONE BOILER, COMPOUND EXPANSION ENGINE OF 90 NHP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE BUNESSAND, MULL, FOR AYR. STOPPED DEAD, HAVING STRUCK CHUBAIDTH ROCK, ABOUT 0.25 MILES SW OF ORONSAY. PASSENGERS AND CATTLEMEN LANDED ON THE ISLAND AND WENT FOR HELP. VESSEL FILLED AND ROLLED OVER, DROWNING MOST OF THE SHEEP AND 65 BULLOCKS. SOME 80 SHEEP REACHED THE SHORE. (SIBI).
