WK CAUSES AN OBVIOUS 'SLICK' IN THE TIDAL STREAM. POSN 531048N, 015600E. GEN DEPTH 15FT. (HMS SHARPSHOOTER, 20.7.50). H5580/68 9.8.68 H5580/68 9.8.68 EXAM'D IN 531043N, 015548E [OGB] USING HIFIX [2 LOP]. GIVES A CLEAR BUT DIFFUSE SONAR RESPONSE. APPEARS TO BE SINKING IN THE SAND, BUT THE TOP OF THE REEF IN THE VICINITY IS STREWN WITH WRECKAGE. AT LEAST 200FT LONG, APPEARS TO LIE 150/330 DEG.
