EX-ORIENTAL PHOENIX '88. BUILT IN 1971 BY ISHIKAWAJIMA HARIMA HEAVY INDUSTRIES, KURE. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY DIAMON PORT SHIPPING CORPORATION. PASSAGE SULLOM VOE, SHETLAND, FOR COME BY CHANCE, NEWFOUNDLAND. BROKE IN TWO IN HEAVY SEAS AND CAUGHT FIRE. LATER BOTH SECTIONS SANK. CREW OF 267 LOST. (MSD).
