Wreck No: W05845, Place of Loss: Barrow Harbour entrance, E side of, Source of Coordinate: Laurence Dunne, Description: 99-ton 17-year old wooden schooner of Swansea. Owned by H. Hoskin & Son, Swansea, and the master was D. Griffiths. En route from Swansea to Tralee with 5 crew and a cargo of coal. Stranded in a SW force 7 gale and was totally wrecked. There was no loss of life. ----------------------------
