BUILT IN 1913 FOR THE SOUTHERN RAILWAY CO. IN USE AS HOSPITAL SHIP. PASSAGE FOR DUNKIRK TO EMBARK WOUNDED PERSONNEL. BOMBED & DISABLED BY GERMAN AIRCRAFT. TUGS WERE SENT TO ASSIST BUT VESSEL SANK. TWO LIVES LOST. (WW2SL).
