BUILT IN 1941 AS AN ARMED TRAWLER JULIET. OIL ENGINE, SINGLE SHAFT. SOLD OUT OF SERVICE IN 1947 BY REENT SHIPPING CO, LENGHTENED, CONVERTED TO M COASTER AND RENAMED PETERJON. SOLD IN 1951 TO THE LIMERICK STEAMSHIP AND RENAMED PLASSY. LIVERPOOL FOR GALWAY IN BAD VISIBILITY. ENGINE FAILED, STRUCK FINNIS ROCK, INISHEER AND WENT ASHORE ON THE ISLAND. CREW OF 10 RESCUED. (SII & OTHERS).
