VESSEL WAS CARRYING INJURED TROOPS OF LORD WELLINGTON'S ARMY AND THEIR FAMILIES FROM LISBON AND CADIZ FOR PORTSMOUTH, WHEN SHE WAS DRIVEN ASHORE IN A GALE OFF TREFUSIS POINT, FALMOUTH. VESSEL BROKE UP QUICKLY, WITH LOSS OF 369 LIVES. (SIBI)
