HH100/351/17 29.8.01 HH100/351/17 29.8.01 DIVED BY I SPOKES IN LISTED POSN. ALTHOUGH NOTHING POSITIVE FOUND TO CONFIRM IDENTITY, WK IS IN POSN WHERE SHIP WAS LOST IN GREAT STORM OF 12.11.1901. NO SIGNS OF BOILERS, ENGINES, ETC, BUT FULL OUTLINE OF THE SHIP IS THERE. IRON PLATES AND RIBS, WOODEN BLOCKS, MASSES OF HUGE WOODEN DECK TIMBERS, WOODEN YARDS FROM SQUARE SAILS AND BROKEN SECTIONS OF HOLLOW IRON MASTS. BOWS FACE N AND ARE A LITTLE SEPARATE FROM THE MAIN PART. REPORTED AS BEING VERY LARGE AND LYING NNW/SSE. (R YOUNG, EMAIL DTD 27.8.01). NCA.
