1.7.66 BUILT IN 1950, REGISTERED AT CAPE TOWN. GEORGE M. LIVANOS WAS STRANDED IN A POSITION JUST OVER A CABLE NW OF THE LT HO, ON A PERFECTLY CLEAR MORNING 19YRS LATER THE SEAFARER WENT ASHORE IN EXACTLY THE SAME POSITION DURING THE MIDDLE WATCH ON 1.7.66. NO LIVES WERE LOSS IN EITHER SHIP BUT EACH WAS A TOTAL LOSS. (SA PILOT, VOL.2, PAGE 171)
