MR J RICHARDS OF CWMBRAN HOPES TO PURCHASE THE SUBMARINE. (D OF C (N) NCP 53041/68). NCA. POSN FOR FILING ONLY. H1288/74/291 28.10.74 SUBMARINE NOT LOCATED DESPITE MANY DRIFT DIVES IN THE AREA. ECHO SOUNDINGS OF NO USE DUE TO UNEVENESS OF SEABED. (DR M J O'CANE 10.10.74). 2.10.82 REPORTED TO BE WELL KNOWN LOCALLY AND TO LIE APPROX 300YDS N OF PHEONIX UNIT, JUST N OF OXWICH POINT AND INTO THE CURVE OF THE BAY.
