VESSEL, BUILT 1930 BY AILSA SB CO, WAS TORPEDOED & SUNK BY A GERMAN SUBMARINE AFTER LEAVING TONNAY CHARENTE ROADS FOR FALMOUTH. ALL 12 CREW MEMBERS WERE LOST. OWNED AT THE TIME OF LOSS BY J HAY & SONS. (DODS). SUNK WHILE ON PASSAGE FROM CARDIFF & TONNAY CHARENTE ROADS TO FALMOUTH. (LL WW2). SUNK BY GERMAN SUBMARINE 'U52'. (AXIS SUBMARINE SUCCESSES).
