BUILT IN 1924 BY A G VULCAN. REQUISTIONED BY ITALIAN NAVY. PASSAGE PALERMO FOR TRAPANI WITH TANKER VERDE. TORPEDOED & SUNK BY A BRITISH SUBMARINE N OF TRAPANI. VERDE WAS LATER SUNK BY MINE LAID BY THE SAME SUBMARINE AFTER GOING TO THE ASSISTANCE OF THE TICINO. (DODS & NAVI MILITARI PERDUTE).
