NOTHING MORE WAS HEARD OF THE SHIP OR THE 48 MEN ON BOARD UNTIL A GERMAN BROADCAST IN DEC 1942 CLAIMED SHE HAD BEEN SUNK BY A SUBMARINE. (DODS, LLOYDS WAR LOSSES WW2 & WW2 BR MSL).
