H1942/80 3.9.82 NOTHING FOUND IN 523500N, 015500E, BUT WK, PROBABLY A SUBMARINE, LOCATED 1.3.82 IN 522635N, 014931E USING HIFIX/6 [3 LOP]. LEAST E/S DEPTH 20 IN GEN DEPTH 22MTRS. NO SCOUR. HYDROSEARCH VERTICAL HT 3.5MTRS, BEAM 7MTRS, LENGTH 18.8MTRS. LYING 104/284DEGS. HAS BULBOUS SHAPE WITH APPARENT HOLE IN CENTRE, WHICH MAY BE CONNING TWR. (HMS BULLDOG, HI 11).
