HH242/350/01 10.11.89 LOCATED IN 545523N, 012032W [OGB]. BELIEVED TO CONTAIN UNEXPLODED MINES/TORPEDOES. EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL UNIT RECOMMENDS NO ANCHORING/FISHING WITHIN RADIUS OF 1000YDS. (TYNE TEES CG MRSC, TLX DTD 10.11.89). HH242/350/01 17.11.89 LIES IN ABOVE REPD POSN, BROKEN INTO 3 PARTS, EACH WITH ABOUT 100FT BETWEEN THEM. CONNING TOWER, WHICH IS LISTING ABOUT 60DEGS, IS HIGHEST PART AND STANDS SOME 4MTRS HIGH IN GEN DEPTH 10MTRS. MUCH WRECKAGE SCATTERED AROUND AND MANY ANCHORS AND CABLE HAVE BEEN LOST IN THE VICINITY.
