19.12.88 CAUGHT FIRE AND THEN CAPSIZED FOLLOWING A COLLISION WITH DUTCH M CONTAINER V NEDLLOYD VAN NOORT. WAS LATER SUNK BY GUNFIRE FROM US COASTGUARD CUTTER OCRACOKE TO PREVENT DIESEL OIL FROM REACHING NEARBY BEACHES. ALL 13 CREW WERE SAFELY PICKED UP. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY G&G SHIPPING INC, ANGUILLA. (LL,17 & 19.12.88).
