Circumstances of loss

27.10.55 TOOK ON LIST WHEN CARGO SHIFTED IN HEAVY WEATHER. ATTEMPTS TO JETTISON CARGO FAILED TO ALTER THE SITUATION. WAS ABANDONED BY CREW AND EVENTUALLY CAPSIZED AND DRIFTED PARTIALLY BUOYANT AND THEN STRANDING. IN OCTOBER 1955 THE WK WAS REPORTED TO HAVE MOVED AND IT WAS SUNK BY THV READY ON 27.10.55.
