28.1.73 EX-EROS. BUILT IN 1952 BY SULZER BROS LTD, POR-BOINES. OWNED AT TIME OF LOSS BY NERIS SHIPPING CO. 8 CYLINDER, TWO STROKE OIL ENGINE OF 1200 BHP, SINGLE SHAFT. PASSAGE EUROPORT FOR DAKAR. AUTO ALARM RADIO SIGNALS HEARD BY N FORELAND RADIO AND VESSEL PRESUMED TO HAVE SUNK WHEN CARGO SHIFTED IN GALE FORCE WINDS AND HEAVY SEAS. LIFERAFT WITH 5 BODIES RECOVERED BY DOVER LIFEBOAT. WAS NOT LOCATED UNTIL 28.1.73 WHEN SHE WAS STRUCK BY BRITISH BULK CARRIER 'DUHALLOW'.
