VESSEL, BUILT 1794-5 IN LOIRE, WAS 1 OF 43 SHIPS OF THE FRENCH FLEET ON PASSAGE BREST TO BANTRY BAY. VESSEL WAS WRECKED ON S SIDE OF MIZEN HEAD. ONLY 7 OF 560 CREW SURVIVED. VESSEL WAS ARMED WITH 20 OR 21 CANNON & A MORTAR. (SHIPWRECKS OF THE IRISH COAST, E BOURKE)
