CASTS A CLEAN SHADOW WITH A HIGH POINT AT THE CENTRE. APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN CLEANLY BROKEN NEAR THE CENTRE AND IS POSSIBLY TOO SMALL TO BE THE 'MAR COR'. POSSIBLY A SUBMARINE. (TH, PILOTAGE & MARINE, HI 465). NFA. SEP 2017/000242097 30.1.18 EXAM'D 18.09.17; WK IN 4954.255N, 0629.367W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 76.59MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 82MTRS, LENGTH 62MTRS, WIDTH 14MTRS, HEIGHT 5.6MTRS, ORIENTATION 030/210 DEGS. WRECK IS SPLIT INTO TWO AND IS LYING ON ITS PORT SIDE. THE CONNING TOWER IS CLOSER TO THE SOUTHERN END OF THE WRECK WHICH SUGGESTS THAT THIS IS ITS BOW. (MMT, HI 1505). RETAIN NDW 76MTRS IN REVISED POSN.
