FELL INTO GERMAN HANDS WHEN ITALY CAPITULATED IN SEPT 1943. USED AS A BLOCKSHIP OUTSIDE TRIESTE HBR. ATTACKED BY BRITISH PLANES, CAUGHT FIRE & EVENTUALLY RAN ASHORE COMPLETELY WRECKED. (DODS).
