H1950/76 17.11.80 NOT FOUND DURING AREA SONAR SEARCH. (HMS BEAGLE, HI 40/80). HH100/351/06 13.1.93 THOUGHT TO BE U 1172. (AXIS SUBMARINE SUCCESSES, P190 - FOOTNOTE AND LTR FROM K HURLEY). HH100/351/12 5.12.96 REPORTED TO BE U 1172. (S KERSHAW 19.11.96).
