HOME PORT LATTIKA, SYRIA. 8 CYLINDER OIL ENGINE OF 1600BHP, SINGLE SHAFT. ORIGINALLY GROUNDED ON COAST OF TRIPTIS 5.12.01 WHEN CARRYING 203 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. LATER REFOATED. LISTED & SANK WHILE UNDER TOW TO SAFE ANCHORAGE TO ALLOW REPAIR OF DAMAGED BOTTOM PLATES. MASTER & 10 CREW ARRESTED & SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS IMPRISONMENT EACH. (LLOYDS VOL.327).
