SANK FOLLOWING A FIRE IN ENGINE ROOM CAUSED EITHER BY GUNFIRE OR TORPEDO FIRED BY SYRIAN NAVY. SHE WAS ATTACKED AFTER SUCCESSFULLY DISCHARGING HER CARGO OF GASOIL AT JOUNIEH HAVING BROKEN THROUGH THE SYRIAN NAVAL BLOCKADE OF CHRISTIAN ENCLAVE IN LEBANON.
